St Michael's evening service talks are now available to subscribe to as a podcast. So if you're familiar with iTunes, or some other kind of Podcatching
software, the magic links you need in order to subscribe can now be
found on the front page of the website (they're also at the bottom of this page).
If all this means nothing to you, let me explain.
At the moment the talks recorded on Sunday evenings are available to
download as MP3 files from our website. But if you want to hear the
latest talk you have to make a concious effort to go and get it.
By
subscribing to our Podcast you can tell your computer to automatically
check for new talks. And depending on how you set it up, your podcatching software can
automatically download the talk, ready for you to listen to on your
computer or MP3 player.
Not that I want to promote Apple excessively (other software is
available) but iTunes makes this really easy. iTunes is free to
download from the Apple website, and once you've created an account in
the iTunes store you'll be able to search for St Michael le Belfrey,
and find our podcast.
It doesn't cost anything and it's a doddle.
A few people have asked about getting hold of talks on CD. Well, if you
have a CD writer in your computer, iTunes will even let you burn our
podcasts (talks) on to a blank disc that you can play anywhere.
If you don't have iTunes already, you can download it from the Apple website.
And if you'd rather not use iTunes, you can find details of many alternative podcatchers on the PodcatcherMatrix website.
