It's that time of the year again, new year, new people. We've got some great new Parish Assistants starting at St Mike's, the youth team managed to recruit two awesome guys. Here's your big chance to meet them. So with out further ado, I give you Dan and Tom aka Bomba and Bambino.

"Hi, I'm Dan aka Bomba. I'm 22 and from Bearstead, near Maidstone in Kent. I spent the last four years doing a sports studies degree at York St John's. I have decided to spend this year as a Youth Parish Assistant as I am interested in doing youth work long term. This year is a way of hearing God's voice on the idea. I am involved with Look Out and am in the process of starting a weekly basketball tournament for teenagers. I attend G2 and Conversations as well as the 7pm service. "

Some things you should know about Bomba:

Hobbies: Most sports, but especially, Rugby, Football and Volleyball. I go to the gym as well.

Favorite Band: Feeder.

Best moment ever: Meeting Jesus when I was 15. Totally changed my life.

Favorite Movie: Gladiator.

Favorite food: Mum's sausage casserole.

Football Team: Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Hero (apart form Jesus): Jason Robinson or Steve Bull.

 "Hi, I'm Tom aka Bambino. I'm 18 from Ashton-in-Makerfield near Wigan. I've just finsihed my A-levels at Winstanley College. I have decided to spend this year as a Youth Parish Assistant because I think God has called me to be involved in church work in the future and this year will help me figure out some of the details of that calling. I am involved with Look Out and am currently setting up a café for 14-18 year olds. I attend Conversations, Family Service and the 7pm service."

Somthings you should know about Bambino:

Hobbies: I play guitar and a bit of drums, bass and keys.

Favorite Band: Delirious? or Coldplay

Best moment ever: Singing to God with thousands of other Christian youth who are doing the same. Love it!

Favorite movie: Mean Girls

Favorite food: Mum's Lasagne on my birthday.

Football Team: Wigan Athletic

Hero (apart from Jesus): Dad - Andrew Clark - Legend!
