We are keen to be a community of students who provide support for one another, who build lasting friendships, and - above all - who learn to live our lives for the glory of God. Whether you're looking for a church in York, or curious to know more about what we do, we'd be really pleased to meet you, so do get in touch.  

We're currently busy planning for the new term, and we're regularly updating these pages with details of our student activities for the new year - so, watch this space. 

We have lots of different congregations at St Michael le Belfrey. You can find out about all of them here , but as a quick guide:

• Most students belong to the 7pm congregation at St Mike's Church. This is a contemporary service with extended worship and in-depth preaching.

•  G2 meets on Sunday at 11am on Hull Road (at the Next Generation gym).  This is a cafe-style service, which is popular with York Uni students.

• Wednesday at 7.30pm at Vodka Revolution on Coney Street - Conversations - worship, talk, discussion and a pint.  Please note that from the 27th January 2010 Conversations will be hosting an Alpha course.  Do get involved by turning up and bringing a few friends.

Getting involved in the life of the church is a great way to explore and develop your gifts and grow in your faith. There’s children’s work, worship, prayer ministry, social action, ‘dynamic’ intercessory prayer, street evangelism, overseas mission, history, architecture and stained glass, bible study, party-planning and event management – and that’s just for starters!
