If you're a regular visitor to this forum you'll have noticed that it stopped working for a while.
Sorry about that.
The datacentre where our web host lives suffered a 'catastrophic network failure' in the early hours of Friday morning (2nd March 07).
Apparently the guys there ended up transporting servers down the road to another facility in order to get things working again, but this took time.
Unfortunately it looks like this was the final straw for the guy who runs the web server we use. He's also a minister, working in church plants in the Midlands, and just doesn't have time to deal with this kind of disaster.
So as a result we're going to be moving the stmichaelsyork.org website to a new web host sometime this week. This will lead to a short period of downtime, but hopefully you'll see a nice message rather than the whole website just disappearing for a few days.
With any luck the transfer of the site to a new host will be quick and painless. Although depending on how quickly your internet service provider updates their records, it could be anything up to 48 hours before you see the site again.
