Well I say new but I've been going for three weeks which is quite a while depending on your species...
Assuming that the forum is populated by humans and there are no super intelligent pets involved I'll say I'm new
Just thought I'd say hi...not sure if this is the right place for it...but I can't think of anywhere else...so forgive me
If you happen to see me (can't miss me, I'm the only guy I've seen with a lip ring...and a metal bar through my ear...I may be wrong though...) it'd be great if you said hi as I know hardly anyone...
Anyway, take care all
God bless

Hi! Glad you have introduced yourself. Do bring your facial hardware into the Parish Centre next to the church if you are ever in town during the day and say hello to us.

Next to the church...I'm not the best at finding things...
I suffer from the problem of being awestruck by the architecture of the minster and st mikes...so my observations of anything else are thrown off...
I'm often at a loose end in town so if I do ever find you I shall pop in

11 Minster yard is the black door immediately to the right of the Minster Gift Shop on the corner of Minster Gates, opposite the South Transept of the Minster. Hope to see you.

Another quick hello and welcome to the forum. You may find the forum a little sparse at the moment.
Actually quite a lot of people are reading it. There's a lot of youth using it, but they've got their own hidden bit so you don't see all the activity (although it's mostly about Pirates v Ninjas... the debate continues).
Anyhoo, great to have another forum fan around the place. We'll gradually get more folk on here.
cheers

Hiya!
i know who you are!! *cue creepy music*
I met you when you first came to York and you sat at the back on the left. I'm really glad you've been coming! Is it the evening services you've been coming too? They're awesome!
Did you find the Parish centre?
Also....you forgot to tell everybody your name!

Really? I could have sworn I said my name somewhere...
Well anyway I am Marc *nods* and I do indeed remember you lol. It was very nice of you to say hi
made me feel very welcome!
I have since switched sides to the right as a friend of mine is friends with a st Mikes regular but I may have to drift back to the left at some point to say hi
And yeps I found the parish centre nicely, though I did go the long way lol.
Hope you are well

Heya again! I'm back on the 28th of April (or round about then anyway!) Come and find me on the LEFT of the church!
*mutters about people swapping sides!*
It'd be good to see you again! Also, how is the job search going?
In Christ

Oh, and for the record it's PIRATES all the way. Seriously, I'm quite obsessed with them...argh!

I am actually now a *drum roll* QA at the Del Monte food factory...
Oh yes its a THRILLING job!
BUT...
Considering I COULD have been doing factory work there I thank God for it every second lol
There is a definate story to it, I shall save it for a time when I can tell it in my merry way in person
God bless,
Marc

I'm sure this has been asked before but does where you sit in church have anything to say about political persuasion?
Has anyone ever done any research into where people sit in church...?
I am off work today as school is being used as a polling station (or - as the kids call it - a bowling station) so I have a bit of free time to think about these things.
A.
PS I think I sit a VERY long way to the right, in Sheffield.
