All services in St Michael le Belfrey unless otherwise stated
A vibrant Anglican church in the centre of York, St Michael's has an overall congregation of 800 people, praising God through Jesus with different styles of Sunday service.
We seek to Bring In and see people come to faith in Jesus, Build Up our congregation in that faith and Send Out people to spread the good news elsewhere. In everything we do we place a high emphasis on the Bible, on worship & prayer and on building relationships.
The church is normally open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm for visitors. You are very welcome to visit. Do check by calling 01904 624190 if you are making a special trip and want to guarantee the church being open when you visit.
In March Ursula Simpson is to become priest in charge at St Barnabas, Leeman Road and is asking if any members of St Michael's would consider joining her to bolster the church. Watch the video to find out more.
